Howdy there. Sorry I havent been on much, havent uploaded in forever... Ive been extremely busy... my AP bio class and calc class are killing me... plus I have jazz band, and now I have pit orchestra rehearsal, but Ill try to get something new up soon.
We just hosted our annual jazz festival on saturday... it went really well. I was on my feet all day practically... we had two guest artists come and perform witb us, sunny wilkinson and steve howton. sunny's a singer and steve's a drummer. we played this one chart with steve called 'bassie's back in town'... we had only like 2 weeks to rehearse it, and we got it up to about 180 bpm... which is pretty fast... we even rehearsed it with steve at around that tempo... but when we went up to perform, and steve counted us off... oh my god... it was friggin 250 beats per minute.... thats really fucking fast... we practically committed suicide on that chart. it was aweful... fortunately the band was the only one to notice, because the audience liked it well enough... well, thats all i got to say, see you later!
